With the intent of promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in everything we do, our goal is to help organizations, businesses, and individuals fulfill their social responsibilities and push for the causes and advocacies they believe in through multimedia content. As women, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and people with disabilities, we founded Black Soldier with a primary focus on the marginalized.
Our decade of experience in marketing and communication has shown us the power of multimedia arts in creating change and leaving an impact on today’s technological society. But it’s also easy to get lost in the sea of digital content as we dive into our computers and mobile devices every single day.

Thus, it is our mission to make organizations and companies that do good rise above the noise through powerful storytelling and creative efforts and strategies that connect and speak to the audience. To give voice to projects that need to be heard, and to assist you in giving back to the community.

Black Soldier also taps the potential of the marginalized: women, LGTBQIA+, PWDs, and ethnic groups who often experience discrimination at work. We provide opportunities for them to use their talents, skills, and creativity on projects that aim to make the world a bit better than it is today.

What's in the name?
Black Soldier is named after a type of fly. While many think of flies as disgusting disease-carrying pests, black soldier flies are, in fact, little sustainability heroes. Clean and packed with energy, they are seen as the future of sustainability with their potential to alleviate poverty and promote food security.
Similarly, marginalized groups, such as women, LGBTQIAs, persons with disabilities, and ethnic minorities, are called names: useless, nuisance, contagious, pests. The opportunities to shine by being different are slim, but we hope to harness such untapped potential. We want to empower these individuals by giving them a space to grow their talents, skills, and creativity for purpose-driven projects and initiatives that can make a difference.
