Having worked in different industries, including news, events, advertising, digital, tech recruitment, and pharmaceutical, Cheryl has grown professionally and personally from the diverse learnings she accumulated through the years.

We started Black Soldier with nothing but a fertile ground ready to grow and nurture stories of different people, communities, struggles, dreams, and achievements. With over a decade of experience working with various brands, corporations, and international organizations in the field of marketing, production, and communication, we have molded and sharpened our skills as artists, as advocates, as human beings.
Our goal is to invest our time and resources to help purpose-driven businesses and organizations that are working hard fulfilling their corporate social responsibilities and spearheading socially conscious initiatives by creating materials and content that could move and inspire people to action.
How do we do that in an age of infodemic and overflowing digital content for people whose attention span has dropped to mere eight seconds?
The answer is stories.
